I pray that God may Bless your time with Him,
as you come to read these inspired writings
Reading the DOA has been unbelievably transforming for me.
It would be nice to hear how it has been for you ✉
I have felt a closer walk with and a closer understanding of my Lord Jesus [insert emoji for 'majesty out of this world'] Isaiah 6:5
Each lesson He has taught me on this journey has been invaluable!
And this week particularly I have been left in deep contemplation of the chapter's relevance to my life in this same very week.. Isaiah 6:5

My fave quotes from the eighteenth chapter: "He Must Increase"..
📚 God calls a man to do a certain work; and when he has carried it as far as he is qualified to take it, the Lord brings in others, to carry it still farther. But, like John’s disciples, many feel that the success of the work depends on the first laborer. Attention is fixed upon the human instead of the divine, jealousy comes in, and the work of God is marred. DA 182.1
📚 The work of God is not to bear the image and superscription of man. From time to time the Lord will bring in different agencies, through whom His purpose can best be accomplished. Happy are they who are willing for self to be humbled, saying with John the Baptist, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” DA 182.2
This is my prayer 🙏
"Oh my dear Heavenly Father! May we ever be true to our calling as messengers for you my King, and may we never seek honour for ourselves. I pray that love for self will be swallowed up in love for Christ! I pray that no rivalry will mar the precious cause of your gospel. May we recognize that our work is to proclaim, as did John the Baptist, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29. That we will lift up Jesus, and with Him humanity will be lifted up. This I pray in my loving Saviour Jesus' name, Amen!"
Look forward to hearing your favourite quotes!
