This post is dedicated to a dear sweet friend
who kindly gave me a whole stack of farm-fresh organic rhubarb.
Well I certainly had a most delicious two weeks of creating different dishes
for breakfast, dinner, and dessert with this versatile vegetable.
And many a more scrummy ideas were in tow ..but alas! I ran out of barb..
Following is a selection from my creations 💝 enjoy!
mmm.. 🤤 think I may go enjoy a piece of Barb Bread now
*use from ⅛ up to ¼ tsp of Hibiscus powder depending how deep you want the berry layer colour
*use from ⅛ up to ¼ tsp of Spirulina powder depending how deep you want the green colour: it cannot be tasted up to the ¼ of a tsp
How yummy this old favourite is.. smashed avo on toast with salt + pepper
Nigella seeds are a sensational substitute for black pepper #winning
And I decided one day to try this classic dish on a bed of spelt noodles.. #WoW #nextlevelwinning
Add some roasted edamame in there.... and that's just next level again!
..another simple salad sure to delight, that you can add to your Sabbath lunch menu options
Cayenne + Carrot Salad
..a delish dish to serve at your next Sabbath lunch #simples!
..thought you knew what a fruit was? think again. Google for yourself to find out the botanic classifications of your favourite plate of dinner veggies; and then! wait til you find out that there is not actually any such classification as vegetable - but rather that vegetable is simply a culinary term.. ha!
So with thus introduction, ere below is a refreshing savoury fruit salad for you: again increasing the medicinal qaulities twofold by eating leafy greens with fruits.
Kiwi + Kale Salad
..my how my mind was blown! the day I discovered the flavour sensation of adding leafy greens to my morning fruit salad. I used kale simply because that it was I had in my fridge at the time, but I have since tried baby spinach and....... ummm!! yummm!!! When leafy greens are eaten with fruit, their medicinal qualities increase twofold.
Best Fruits Forever Salad
..this simple salad is refreshing not just to the palate, but also to one's health
Have this for breakfast every morning and you'll be giving your immune system a boost! with the following being just a few of the health benefits:
Add some kale too or baby spinach, like in my Kiwi + Kale salad, and boost your salad's medicinal qualities by twofold!
Oh! the day on my juice fast when I had the genius idea to lightly steam the veggies
..but I mean lightly! just enough to take away the 'raw' flavour and give it that steamed taste
When I tasted the fruits of this creative take on juicing ..it was a win on the savoury front!
Becoming not just my own favourite juice above all else,
but a favourite for many fellow juicers too
Don't be a dill
and go overboard with the dill
Unless you're a dill that likes their dill
I love salads. I love greek salads!
So when on my juice fast, I thought
'why not pull all the ingredients into a juice?!'
It was indeed a moment of celebration!
..and those who have done a juice fast will well understand
that pure juice delight in something different
A lineup of with the likes beet root, cabbage and garlic: this juice is highly nutritious - aptly so boasting folate, manganese, potassium, iron and Vitamin C. To also mention this juice is a powerful cleanser of the blood. It truly is your Blood Buddy! 😇
In my opinion, every meal should have, begin, and end with Vawaiian!
Prepare yourself some Vawaiian Salad and you'll see 😉
..and hence I bring you the smoothie version
It cannot be stated enough that: every meal should have, begin and end - with Vawaiian!
Growing up, us kids absolutely loved a particular dish that our Mum would make; but because of it's ingredients, it was a rare treat ..and one that suited our kiddy sweet toothes a little too much, if you understand me. Now that I don't do naughty anymore, I determined that this dish shan't depart from my menu. So to cease the blah blah blahs, I introduce to you my [drum roll]
dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, gelatin-free, fully vegan ... Vawaiian Salad!
So healthy compared to the naughty recipe
..that I've taken to having it for breakfast hehe
* the yoghurt tub is used to measure the coconut & fruit amounts
** these ingredients substitute the key ingredient in the naughty recipe; and successfully so, as the dish made using this recipe tastes identical to the dish made using the naughty recipe; so they're not really omittable. That said, you can omit/substitute if you like - the same flavour just can't be guaranteed 😇 that's all
° make sure to do these steps separately [emphasized]
This is so scrummy-umptious!
Step into the liquid world beyond fruits & raw vegies
..and experience this taste sensation!
You'll be glad you did 😎
This is a new mix that I ventured on one day
Just for something different
And my what a favourite it has become ..personally, and among family & friends!

This pesto, I just happened upon one day when I was making myself a big batch of Curry Tea. I didn't want to simply throw away the curry leaves I had just steeped for my tea ..so I decided to make a pesto with them.
It has been a hit with the dishes I have coupled the pesto with for a combined lunch the next day. PHAB Walnut Loaf and this pesto go scrumptiously together; mixed through some Egyptian Spinach Noodles with EVO & Veggie Salt is delish too!
This recipe was made for my husband
..and then also named unknowingly by him also;
the name being simply his expression as we sat down to dinner.
I thought there was no better fitting name for it 😇 hehe
*once grated: tomato skins can either be discarded, or chopped and put into the stew
Looking for a fresh healthy lunch..
..or maybe a delicious simple fare to take to a friends dinner party?
Look no further!
Wow, and be wowed! with this 100% plant-based "pasta" dish

..oh! the enjoyment!
..oh! the "your imagination is the limit" enjoyment!
Prepare to be delighted by this vegan bolognese dish;
an hundred percent plant-based meal as well, if you pair it with sqetti as shown..
Enjoy this fresh relish as an added dimension for the flavour of your savoury, as part of a dressed up dip, or on your next salad sandwich..
just for a few 'relished' ideas 😉
Aah! ..Spaghetti Squash ..plant pasta 💕
If you're after a pasta alternative that is not flour-based, nor plant-based that has been processed into pasta form, look no further than this humble squash. Yielding nice long strands straight out of it's skin, you can enjoy a generous plate of Broot Bolognese with Sqetti, a fresh helping of Sqinni Sqetti, or with any "pasta sauce" of your preference.
Spaghetti Squash can be sourced from your local organic market or shop.
Testimony ~ chef lani sret
To affect change, by the grace of God, believe and claim the promises in His Word.
🍞 KJV Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
🍞 2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
On February 11th 2018, I bowed in repentance and with a contrite heart before my God.
Uplifting my tearful plead for forgiveness and intense petition to be a vessel meet for His purpose, I prayed with thankfulness for opening my eyes to the truth.
I was unaware of the path God had now set my feet upon 👣 Praise the Lord!
Not only, as the verse says, “old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”, but He has given me new desires of my heart. [Ps 37:4]
From one who before had absolutely no interest in time invested in cooking, from one who was bound by seemingly unconquerable attachments to particular foods, from one who though knowing the truth would indulge my lower passions and give in to appetite rather than exercise strength of will and control by exercising higher powers. From this such one.. comes this blog 💞 glory to God!
Through this blog I hope to share the journey that God takes me on in exploring the ‘science above all other sciences’ - cooking! [MM270.6]
As He leads me into new heights of health exploration, I pray you can join in to partake of the blessings also.
And it is my prayer that He leads you in the most monumental blessings that make up the testimony of your own experience 🙏
🍞 KJV Mark 11:22,23
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
📚 It is for our own benefit to keep every gift of God fresh in our memory. Thus faith is strengthened to claim and to receive more and more. There is greater encouragement for us in the least blessing we ourselves receive from God than in all the accounts we can read of the faith and experience of others. The soul that responds to the grace of God shall be like a watered garden. His health shall spring forth speedily; his light shall rise in obscurity, and the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon him. Let us then remember the loving-kindness of the Lord, and the multitude of His tender mercies. Like the people of Israel, let us set up our stones of witness, and inscribe upon them the precious story of what God has wrought for us. And as we review His dealings with us in our pilgrimage, let us, out of hearts melted with gratitude, declare, “What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all His people.” Psalm 116:12-14. DA 348.2
