Interesting chapter this week, our next chapter in: the Desire of Ages; we shall read the following chapter.. 9. Happy reading! *** What a lonely life our dear saviour lived on this earth.. As the closing paragraph said, "through childhood, youth, and manhood, Jesus walked alone. In His purity and His faithfulness, He trod the wine press alone, and of the people there was none with Him." So many great quotes in this chapter that we could well learn from that would bring us into a closer walk with our Lord. My fave quote from the ninth chapter: Days of Conflict.. 📚 When the priests and teachers required Mary’s aid in controlling Jesus, she was greatly troubled; but peace came to her heart as He presented the statements of Scripture upholding His practices. DA 90.2 This quote is so liberating and encouraging! ✊ Promising the true peace of God, when in all aspects of our lives we walk in accordance to His pure Holy Word; and all while in the face of disdain from those who hold to the opinions of men. #AMEN #iLOVEit 💖 #wonderfulpeace Blessings, Lani. Indeed! And what encouragement this can be to us when we feel alone ... we can know that we are not actually alone, and are walking the path of our Jesus 💞
