Hello beautiful peoples
This week as we continue our reading, ‘twill again be one chapter of: the Desire of Ages; we shall read the following chapter.. 7. My fave quote from the seventh chapter: As a Child.. 📚 often in the synagogue on the Sabbath day He was called upon to read the lesson from the prophets, and the hearts of the hearers thrilled as a new light shone out from the familiar words of the sacred text. DA 74.2 #pure + #simple 💖 There were so many wonderful quotes from this whole chapter. But this just shone out to me, and straight into my heart. As I can really relate to it with how reading the Bible is for me now. Familiar words now shining in new light as I study them with God and His gentle guidance. This quote illustrates how transforming God's presence is when reading His Word. And also why we really should be praying each time we come to reading His sacred texts, and inspired writings. I think the part u choose of when Jesus read out in the Sabbaths is solo special an one day soon we will hear Jesus voice reading from the much loved Bible to us!!!!! Wonderful Words of Love ,,Jesus ,Father,Holy Spirit,,Amen to your choice ,I too loved an was touched by it ,
